Can from Tbone, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Apple syrup and a hint of roast in the aroma. Sweet apple syrup flavor with licorice and ash. Just not my taste.

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 26.06.2010
Aroma is somewhat malty with toffee, some syrup and roasted notes. Flavour has toffee, nuts, some roasted notes and hints of coffee. Easy‐going stuff. I thought this was supposed to be ale?

330 ml bottle, local shop. Very dark colour, smooth taste, chocolate. Works nice as a dessert beer also.

Can 0,5l. Black colored. Modest aroma of coffee. A large beige head that lasted. Soft mouthfeel. Flavor of chocolate and coffee. Some bitterness. A bit watery but quite good. A "Koff porter light".

Can, shared at a Charley’s post- birthday party in Tromsø. Rather nice appearance with a brownish, lacing-head solid resting on a devil-black body. Smell of light roasted grain. Plain dark malty profile with a smoked touch. Finish off with hints of bitter coffee. Medium bodied (14.06.2008).

500ml Can - Very dark brown, almost black in colour with a foamy tan head. Slightly metallic aroma with malt and aniseed and some roasted notes. The taste is smooth with coffee featuring prominently along with a hint of liquorice. Not bad.

Bottle. Dark, ruby red pour, topped by a dense, beige head. Roasted, slightly coffee-bitter aroma, with some fruits, unfortunately it vanishes rather quickly. The flavor has some bitterness, a weak coffee note, and some grainyness, leading to a quite subdued finish with coffee and some hoppy bitterness. Medium body. Quite nice, pleasant and quaffable, but not too interesting. (0708015)

50cl can - "Sinebrychoff Velvet" - no mention of KOFF - but a similar label design to the photo.dark brown opaque body, with a frothy coffee coloured head; burnt toast aroma, with perhaps some coffee notes (unless it’s an eye-nose trick); thin and dry in the mouth with roasted malt and smoke; a lingering meatiness. An impressive beer.
