Thus, we recommend basking in the glow of this double IPA while you can. Phantasm (a unique brewing ingredient made from New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc grape skins) transforms into tropical and citrusy aromas during fermentation. Plus, there’s actual citrus in the form of sweet orange peel. Add an unprecedented trio ofhops – Mosaic, Southern Aroma (fromSouth Africa) and 843 (a Stone-sponsored experimental variety from HBC - Hop Breeding Company) and you’ve got quite the magical moment.

Can from Alko Oulu Keskusta. A bit hazy dark golden/orange with a medium white head. Canned a long time ago but still a decent one. Sweetish with mango, citrus, orange, marmalade and caramel. Quite bitter.

Draught at Skaal Sønderborg. Very caramelly aroma. Hazy light copper colour. Almost no head. The flavour is very caramelly, spicy. Seems to have chili, or at least something else that burns a bit. Not unpleasant, though. Belgian yeast notes. Ok bitterness to balance the caramel notes, but gets a bit much in the aftertaste.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy light amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with fruity touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of caramel malt and touches of yeast and lozenges. Bitter and malty aftertaste with acidic hints. Reasonable.

Aromas are resin, citrus and other fruit plus some malt. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, adding in some weed, a touch of caramel and good balance between sweet, bitter and carbonation. Body is a bit chewy with just right carbonation. Stone still has the chops.

Draft. A cloudy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, grapes, malt, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, hops, citrus fruits, grapes, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

A bit cloudy orange colour, small white head. Citrus, sweetish fruits, slightly bready. Medium-bodied. Grapefruit, tangerine, Mosaic petrol and sweetish tropical fruits. Already 4 months old so could be a bit freshier but ok.

A yellow-orange beer, a head is quite big and blond. Aroma has grapefruit, mango, light pine. Taste has grapefruit, fructose, some pine. Medium+ bodied. Balanced and nice beer.
