smells real good, and looks real good too. It is rather roasty and chocolaty in the taste which is great. However there is some kind of "something went wrong" mushroomy like in the taste which draws down a lot. Still, an interesting beer and a good drink, if you can manage the mushroom/fungus thing.

Dark ruby with a big tan head. Grain dominates the aroma with a burned roast malt note. Sweet malty with an out of character charcoal roast that is completely off balance for my taste.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Clear, reddish brown with a small, beige head. Aroma of burned malt and plenty of fruit which is not your typical ester in a Bock! Medium body with roasted malts, burned caramel and a dry, lightly hoppy finish. Quite an interesting beer with the Bock features being the most prominent. 260208

75 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue and a lacing light tan/orange head. Roasted malt, mild chocolate note. Roasted malt flavour. Solid chocolate malt. Growing roasted malt and spice flavour. Dry and roasted finish. Nice, yet somewhat too simple roasted malt flavoured.
