With this iteration of our signature Imperial Stout, we used an ample amount of tart cherries, vanilla, and artisanally roasted coffee. The tartness of the cherries and the lusciousness of the vanilla balance the roasted complexity of the beer, creating the perfect blend of delectable flavors. Cheers!

Can from Beer Republic. Cloudy black, stable, foamy, beige head. Aroma of marzipan, maraschino cherry, cough drops, pralines (Mon Chéri), strawberry ice cream, panna cotta, red candy. Taste has sweet cherry, strawberry and raspberry candy in an almondy, marzipan-like and chocolatey malt body; gentle sourishness leading the way towards the softly tart & earthy hoppy finish, where a chocolate powder effect but mostly red fruit candy notes linger. Alcohol remains hidden. Medium to full body, oily-sticky texture, soft carbonation. Too little roastiness here and in the end, a bit too artifical too. Too bad!

0.473l can from Beer Republic. Aroma of roasted malt, cherries, dark chocolate and caramel. Pours pitch black color with large creamy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt and coffee, follows by tart cherries with earthy note, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, thick creamy texture and average
carbonation in palate. Tart cherries make this one much easier to drink…

Auf dem Speedway ist die Hölle los! Schöner kann ein Stout nicht aussehen und auch kaum besser nach Kirschen riechen - und schmecken. Geiles Teil!

Can shared with friends. Black color, medium sized light to medium brown head. Aroma and flavor are malts, dark malts, roast mixed with cherry tartness and cherry stone bitters. Strong coffee in the background especially in the aroma. Roast and tart finish, more coffee in the aroma, basically all the way. Not bad, but cherry tart in my beer is not something I'd say really improves it. It works, but doesn't really makes it better.

Can split at the Columbus Christmas Bash (who knew this would be the last!), thanks to Tipple, Level 6, 15/12/22. Black with a tan cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is roast malts, cherry syrup, spice, cocoa powder, toffee. Taste comprises light coffee, roasted bite, cherry skins, charr, chocolate shavings. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost. Sips easy for the ABV but overall a passable addition to the Speedway range, wouldn't revisit.

Can at BBT 2/2024. Full body, med-high carbonation. High roasty bitterness, med-high malty and fruity sweetness. Lots of chocolate and coffee, the coffee in particular is well executed, pleasant smooth character. Shitloads of sour cherries, so much that we were talking if it can come from real fruit. I think yes, but there is a lot. Cleanly distinguishable. Intense, not especially complex, but very tasty and easy drinking, ABV hidden surprisingly well. Excellent.
