When two IPA's collide! The first 30th Anniversary Collaboration Project release is a mash up of Baby-Faced Assassin and Elusive Brewing's Oregon Trail. The dominant Citra hop additions of B-FA have been joined by fellow US varieties Columbus, Chinook, Simcoe and Mosaic, before, during and after fermentation, while we used a California yeast used in place of our house strain, to create a fruit bowl of passionfruit, Mango and citrus fruit flavours.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a citrus and pine combination with a bit of grass and hay backing. Flavor has lots of dank grass and a bit of citrus rind with a hint of marijuana and a light sweet grain backbone.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Elusive online. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy white topping. Light-medium sweet flavour, dry and bitter, curly piney, some sun-kissed pale mats, a little citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bitter and balanced finish, resinous pine, light dankness, lean pale malts. Excellent.

Can bought at Elusive. Aroma is resinous with a fruity streak and grains. Clear copper gold. Thin translucent white head soon recedes. Heavy bitter. Resin and stone fruit. A hint of marmalade. Light bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long very dry finish. Pretty astringent to boot. Enjoyable crisp West Coast IPA.
