ABV: (frontlabel 5.3%. - rearlabel 5.0%.) Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, sweet malt, caramel, cookie. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, sweet malt, caramelized malt, toasted, bread, thin, watery flavor. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20191212]

Tap, somewhere in Trockau. Malt and plums in the aroma. Dark brown color. Caramel, malt and plums in the sweetish flavor. Just a hint of butter. Delicious dunkel!

500 ml bottle, served in mug. Brown-reddish colour, fluffy foam head. Dried fruits, roasted malt, nuts. Malty, slightly bitter. Sweet. Not that smooth I expected. Soft carbonated, medium body. Okay.

500ml bottle. Clear, mahogany colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly roasty, slightly grainy, dark malty aroma, cautious herbal hoppy overtones. Taste is slightly roasty dark malty, minimally grainy, grassy and minimally herbal hoppy overtones.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest dry, light sourish touch. Finish more earthy-malty, not too dry. Well balanced finish. Good!

bottle, Dankeschön nach Bochum! Clear brown colour, mid-sized head. Malty with hints of chocolate and raisins, slightly fruity. Some pleasant shy hoppy flavours hover in the background. A well-balanced and pleasant Dunkel.
