Bottle from The Beer Cave. Clear golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of grain and not a lot else. Flavour of minerals, lemon and cereal. Thin body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Clean and subtle.

Swingtop bottle clear yellow with a thick, frothy white head. The aroma is toasty grain, bitter - sweet, digestive biscuit, bread and oatcakes. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, snap of bitterness, bitter - sweet character, quite sweet malt base, digestive biscuit, cheap white bread, fatty and bread & butter pudding with a dry, grainy finish. Average body and fine, prickly. It's fine overall, but a bit sweet for my liking.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden with a foamy head. Grainy, citrussy, metallic, hay. Mild dry metallic bitterness, grainy sweetness. Light to medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry grainy metallic finish. Good Brotzeitbier.

Heller, erfrischend herb-getreidiger Beginn. Ansteigende Herbe, kaum süß, milde aber passende Hopfenintensität, rund. Spritzig, die Herbe steigt weiter an, langer, mild würziger Abgang. Gut. 9/10/11/10/9/11

Bottle. Clear golden color, white head. Malty aroma with light hop notes. Taste is expected, standard: good malt profile, complemented by hops. Drinkable.

Pours golden with a white foamy head of middle duration. Aroma is malty sweet with floral notes around the edges. The taste is generally very mild, with the sweet malt in the leading role. Lightly sour at the end, with a hint of sweetness. Virtually no bitterness. Medium bodied with lighter than average carbonation. OK, but could get cloying when going beyond 1 or 2 bottles.

500ml bottle, BB 11/15. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of malt and bread. Initially there was an strong (and unpleasant) metal taste, although it dissipated after a couple of minutes, then bread and malt. Mild and enjoyable Helles.

SWING-TOP 50 CL. Clear golden, white head. Clean malt sweetness along with some minerals in the nose. The taste is just as simple - malt sweetness and light herbal hops in the finish. That’s it! Immaculate and crisp body. Good, though a bit boring of course.
