Herrlich hell in der Farbe, mit einem schlanken, eleganten Körper, leicht aromatisch im Geschmack. Gut ausbalancierte Bitternote mit angenehmem Hopfenaroma. Die helle Freude, unser „Einfach’s“!

Bottle. Pour is a light yellow/gold with a bit of a head and grainy and grassy aromas. Flavor is mild with a bit of a peppery edge to the hops to compliment the grass and malt flavors. Not bad, but fairly refreshing.

.5L bottle-pours a foamy white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is grain-caramel/bready, spicy/perfumy/pepper hops, yeast. Taste is grain-malty/caramel/bready, spicy/perfumy/pepper/metallic hops. Balances nicely. Towards medium body. OK effervescence. Thanks Joe/jwc215 for sharing.

Pour is a bright yellow with a small white head, Aroma has some wet grass and biscuit. Flavor is a let down. Very weak amount of malts and almost no hops. Finish is watery and bland.

Caged 500mL bottle. Nice initial outward package impression. Nothing special on the aroma, just plain typical americam lager smells, without the corn. Ever so slight haze in the glass on an otherwise ubiquitous appearing lager. First taste has a mild pilsner bite. Hop is everpresent, but it is not bitter hop. wet hay and yellow grassy uneveness. Much more than the american lagers and it lacks any of the ungentlemanlike characters. Of course there is no industrial adjuct or processed lager attributes. Quite unrefined in a good way. Interesting on the finish, no bad aftertastes at all. Some mild fine pilsner hop bitterness on the finish. Not as enjoyable as Edenton Helles Angel, but exceedingly better than Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold.

This was a nice helles. Gold color and just a little cloudy, and clear, a great summer beer on a hot day by the barbecque. Moderate hops in the aroma and flavor and malt with grass in the flavor. Crisp, clean finish.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Straw-golden, mid-sized fluffy white head, slowly collapsing; shy sweetish-grainy nose, a bit dusty, too; very faint bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, a bit watery in the sweetish-grainy finish. Yawn......such a boring stuff...............

Re-rate as Brotzeit Seidla, assume it is the same. Pale golden, fairly carbonated, Grainy juicy aroma. Dry grassy entry, a hint citrus, cracker malt, a hint moppiness, good balance though, still quite fresh and pleasant. Old rating:7 4 7 3 13 Bottle, thanks Pivnizub. Pale green-golden, champagne bubbles, creamy white head. Fresh green hop aroma, grassy, light metallic. Light yet chewy bready body with a solid hop balance - but nut quite enough pitterness to push it into the pilsner category. wellattenuated, fine sparkly mouthfeel. Aromatic hop aftertaste. Very nice.
