An Old-World ale rebooted with New Skool cool. We injected our Belgian-style beer with tropical American hops to create what we can only call a mutant Blond. A dual-passport ale that merges Belgian sophistication with the audacity of an American gazillionaire. Seems innocent, right? *NOPE* Our Blond is dangerously fruity and totally mental. Beautiful and bad-*ss at the same time, she thrives in every season and social situation.

Can from one of the markets at Utrecht main railway station. Hazy deep golden, offwhite head. Banana nose, medium full chewy, foamy mouthfeel, dry belgian yeast notes, tropical notes, dry fruitiness in the finish. Quite pleasant.

Draft at Het Klooster, Delft. Poured a hazy golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is saison yeast. The flavour is moderate Belgian yeasty bitter, with a smooth, dry, yeasty, earthy herbal, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This isn’t a blond ale, it’s a saison. No evidence of the promised fruity American hops either. Very disappointing and misrepresented.
