[44cl can from Tesco] A hazy pale amber pour with a ring of white head; aroma of tropical fruit and resinous pine; west coast style pine taste from the start, softened by some caramel; then a rounded bitter finish with some alcohol.

Loose white head on a slowly carbonating unclear amber coloured body.
Faint citrus aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy & cloying.
Malt, bubble gum, pineapple & citrussy tastes.
Had better.

Slight hazed gold with small white head. Aroma of citrus, ripe tropical and pine; pleasant although nothing unusual. Its quite sweet with a mild tropical flavour as well as pine, grains, light earthiness. Medium bodied, maybe a touch on the light side for the strength but is refreshing and crisp. Due to the latter, this one grew on me.

Can from Waitrose, West Byfleet. Aroma struggles to make any impact. Light fruit and spice. Clear copper gold. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Low-key fruit leads into resinous bitterness. Spicy edge. Underlying damp malts, to the beer's detriment. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Bog standard IPA.

44cl can from Whole Foods Market in London. Head is big, egg-white, good retention. Colour is gold, light hazy. Aroma is mango, pineapple, bit orange. Taste is medium malty base, toast, orange, grapefruits, bit tropical fruits, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, good one, enjoyed.

0,44 boks fra lokal sjappe på Muswell Hill, delt med Steven i hagen: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Guava, gressløk og litt furunål i en ok maltkropp. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen.

440ml can from Morrisons, Sheldon. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is earthy malt, light tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, watery, herbal, super light citrus, funky yeasty dry bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Well there’s a few quid wasted. Poured the remainder down the drain. One of the worst beers I’ve had in a long time. Makes me wonder if something went wrong during brewing or canning. This probably speaks volumes about their quality control, but if this is indeed how it was meant to taste, it speaks volumes about the direction in which Heineken is taking this brewery!
