Ochutnejte německý historický styl, který se vyznačuje kombinací lehké kyselosti a kouřovosti ve vysoce perlivém lehkém těle. Tenhle německý styl připomíná Berliner Weisse a dosáhl vrcholu své popularity v 19. století. My ale věříme, že ho oceníte i dnes.

(Draught at Bad Flash Bar Karlín, Prague, 19 July 2023) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, smoky nose with bread, grass and bacon. Malty, fruity, slightly tart taste with notes of lemon, white bread, bacon and mild smoky notes. No bitterness. Light body, mainly dry. The balanced smokiness and mild acidity combined with the low alcohol level, actually makes this really fresh and drinkable. Very nice.

Can. Far from being impressed. Smoked notes are rather homeopathic. Light acidity. Indeed not a lichty I was hoping for.

Plechovka z beerstation. Vôňa zaudena. Farba bledsia zlatista. Chuť kyslasta údená.

Tap at Murphys Law. Clear golden with creamy white head. Soft smoke, crisp malts, a hint of seaweed, light salt, crackers. Crisp and bright medium bodied. Good.

Pale golden color with white head. Aroma is light smoky, acidic, dough. Taste is very light sour and smoky. Very decent bier, Lichtenhainer for beginners. Refreshing, tasty, but not exactly in style.

Can 0.5l. Slightly cloudy, straw colored. AROMA- decent, light smoke, light sour tones, dough. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly sour, touch of lemon, slight touch of smoke, touch of paper. Light bodied. Too decent even for Lichtenhainer, I'm afraid. Almost no smoke in flavor. And paper flavor...

Can. Thin body, rather high carbonation. Med-light smokiness, with part beech and part peat character. Medium sourness and med-light saltiness, clean lacto. Overall pretty clean, not much else to be found here. Good easy drinking thirst quencher.

Never had a Lichtenhainer but this is great. Nicely refreshing, light and fruity with hints of smoke, well balanced.
