Double Bourbon Barrel Aged version of Centaur Army. A huge 14% Peanut Butter, Chocolate and Caramel Imperial Stout aged for 10 months in Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace barrels. Expect loads of vanilla and wood in addtion to the other flavours.

Draft at MBCC 2023, Green session. Poured almost black with a thin broken tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, oaky, hazelnut. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, oily, roasty, nutty, caramel, liqourice chocolate, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can at the 'Mere, Happy New Years (Tipples had) Tastang, thanks to Tips 21/01/22. Black with a decent tan cap that clears edgewards. Nose is sweet malts, toffee fudge, peanut butter, spice, brown sugar dusting. Taste comprises peanut butter fudge, mellow barrel, chocolate, spice, dark malts, toffee, dark malts, dried fruit rinds, bourbon kiss, nutty twang. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid PNB impy ... up there on the top level of said sub genre.

Can shared in Hazlemere - cheers to Tipple. Pours black with a slight, creamy tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour, mellow roast, toasted toffee, faint peanut butter accents, fudge, raisins, cherries. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lightly sticky, hearty fudge. Delicious beer.
