Tap. Unclear brown color with beige head Aroma is grassy, roasty, chocolate malts, grains. Taste is dry and bitter, blackbread. Silky mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid.

Draft at MBCC 2023, Blue session. Poured a hazy dark brown colour with a thin off-white head. The aroma is malt and woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a dry crisp, malt, light roasty, light dank, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On tap at the Green Goddess, Blackheath. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Nose is blackberries, grapefruit, raisin, liquorice toffee. Taste is dark fruits, coffee, raisin, touch of grapefruit coming through in the back end. Malty hoppy finish.

Tap at Skaal (09/02/2023) - Dark roasted malty and solid hoppy, some cocoa, caramel, fruity grapefruit and tangerine in the back, medium body, solid hoppy and roasted malty close. Good stuff.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, roasted malt, and hints of chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Colin for this one. A a clear dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is earthy roast, wood, light sap, light roast, brown toast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty toasted malts, woody pine sap, light roast. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Good CDA.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 29/12/22. Black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is dried red berries, pine needle, cocoa powder, light charr, mellow roast, earthy hops. Taste comprises earthy roast, pine needle, ashen tones, Ribena berry, scorched earth, raisins, toffee crisp. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with earthy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Solid on point CDA.

440ml can. Almost black with a big beige head. Aroma of chocolate and roast malts, piney hops. Taste of chocolate, roast malts, pine, grapefruit peel, bitter finish. Good BIPA but wanted a bit more from the hops.

440ml can. Pours very dark brown with a large head. Aroma is juicy tropical fruit with a little roast. Taste has roast and tropical fruit. A bit simple.
