Pours almost black with a small white head. Aroma is estery banana, dark malts, chocolate, coffee. Full body. Flavour is malty, quite sweet, lots of banana, light toffee - could maybe be even a touch sweeter, but I enjoyed this balance of flavours. Finish is full on rye, gives a lovely spicy addition to the flavour. Nice!

Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth if slightly thin dark malts, a decent If mild dark chocolate. Good ripe rich banana, floral banana. Smooth finish. Works well enough if, it doesn't absolutely wow.

If your imperial stout tastes like sour coffee from the first sip, you have not mastered the brewing process

330 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with short tan head. Aromas of dark sugars, vanilla, honey, banana, dark chocolate and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same. Sweet , but not overly sweet. Creamy. Roasted malts are rich and smooth. Excellent pastry stout.

Bottle @ home. Clear, deep, dark brown body, almost black under a small, fast disappearing beige head. Arom has dark malt, coffee and alcohol. Taste is sweet, dark malt, chocolate, coffee, banana and hint of vanilla. Fine balanced body with a nice, long lasting aftertaste with warming alcohol. Not to interesting by the first sips, then it seems to grow in taste. Nice and smooth.
