On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe (at 5.6%). Pours a very dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Coffee is very much the strongest constituent in the aroma, but there’s also traces of cocoa and malts. In the mouth it is pretty sweet but with a little underlying sharpness too. Coffee again to the fore in the aroma, alongside roast malts, caramel, nuts and traces of dark fruits, This is decent.

16oz can pours a murky brown with a cap of beige head. Nose has malt, smoke, a little old couch. Flavor is malt and cherry, smoke, caramel. Full bodied.

Draft at Himmeriget, Copenhgaen, Azvex TTO, 04/05/2023 Roasted and sweet malty with some strong coffee roast, brown sugar, full bodied, nutty accents into the dark malty close. Solid.

Aroma: coffee malts, espresso and hazelnuts. Taste: espresso malts, nuts and mild dark chocolate. Long sweet finish. Next one please!

Keg at Himmeriget. Pours deepest brown with w tab to beige cap. Aroma: coffee, cocoa, caramel. Taste: moderate sweet, coffee beans, cold brew coffee, roast, pronounced bitterness. Medium body with light carbonation.

200ml draught, TTO at Himmeriget. Shared with Skinnyviking. Durable tan head, black in the glass, clingy lacing. Attractive smell of grainy chocolate, nicely roasted. Mocha chocolate and coffee flavours followed by a roasted dark malty finish. semi-sweet. Medium bodied. Nice. (Copenhagen, 04.05.2023).

Black beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of intense coffee beans, espresso, hazelnut. Taste of hazelnut, sweet dark malt, chocolate, coffee beans.

Can pour at the April DC Ratebeer tasting. Poured a very dark cola color, perhaps black. Light tan head, maybe ecru. Aroma was nice nutty chocolate. Roasted, chocolate with some coffee. Really pleasant stuff.
