Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is coffee ground, hazelnuts, mild roast. Taste is the same. Velvety mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good!

On tap at Himmeriget, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted hazelnuts, light cocoa, and toasted malt. Flavour reveals gentle toasted hazelnuts, along with a fairly dry toasted malt ale. Not so assertive. Good but a bit underwhelming.

29/4/2023. Can shared by ITFCDan, from Hopsters Ipswich. Pours clear black with a small frothy beige head. Aroma of hazelnut, chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, burnt plastic. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, creamy, soft carbonation. Pretty good.

Can split at the DC tasting, at Nimbleprop pad, 13/04/23. Black with a tan head. Nose is hazelnut, chocolate, dark malts, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises earthy roast, chocolate biscuit, nutty, spice, dark malts, dried fruit rinds, light coffee dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent flavoursome porter.
