Draught@TCBW2023. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted tones, mild vanilla with some slight peanuts too. Flavour is coffee, vanilla, some mild roasted tones with a bit bittery old cold coffee tones too. Smooth. A good reason to smile, when you come accross this kind of goodies still close to the end of the fest.

Tap @MBCC2023, Yellow Session. Black, oily with tan head. ROast and choc aroma. Sweet flavour, choc, roast and coffee, sole licorice too.

Pours black, small tanned head. Scent is intense, ashy-roasty. Coffee, dark chocolate. Thick body, low carbo. Whiff of vanilla, perhaps ? All seems great, but the balance or smoothness really lacks. Decent, but not amongst the true greats.

Black beer, thin tan head. Loads of coffee in the aroma. Flavour, again, leads with lots of coffee, some sweet fruit, vanilla, a bit of milk chocolate, a big malty base to it. Not massively complex, just a few big flavours balanced perfectly and absolutely hitting the spot in a big, rich and warming stout. Lovely stuff.

Servida en schnifter, color negro opaco, espuma marrón cremosa y espesa. En nariz huele que alimenta a chocolate, café, malta torrefacta, brownie, vainilla, aroma muy goloso. En boca es densa, oleosa, cuerpazo cremoso, notas de café expreso, bizcocho de chocolate, tiramisú, pan quemado, con un fondo de sirope de fresa. Bastante dulce y medianamente amarga. Una gochada de birra, supergolosa, para disfrutar como un gorrino. Gora Basqueland eta bere garagardoak txerri bezala gozatzeko

Draught, half pint. @Artbeerfest 2023, Caminha (Portugal). 15/07/2023 [#6.574 Global - #1.308 Spain - #75 Basqueland Brewing] Pours pitch black with a minimal tan head. Good lacing. Aroma: coffe malts, chocolate and strawberries. Taste: lots of dark chocolate, coffeeish malts and vanilla. Warming finish. Next one please!

Can. Malty aroma and taste, light roastyness, coffee, chcolate, strawberry notes, light sweet and sourish, medium bitter. Full body, malty chocolaty coffee bitter finish with warming alcohol notes. Ok.

440ml can. Pours black with a dark brown head. Aroma of coffee, roast malts, chocolate. Taste of bitter coffee, roast malts, molasses, caramel, vanilla, strawberry is pretty tame so it's hard to notice it, overall bittersweet with a very warming boozy finish. Thick.
