As the name implies, this Kentucky-style strong ale was aged in a blend of bourbon and whiskey barrels. A medium-full bodied malt forward ale with complex flavors and aroma.

Can from Tavour. Pours very dark, but clear, mahogany with a tan pour that did a Guinness. Aroma suggests bourbon and cola. Approaching full bodied. Flavor is malty, bourbon and cola, with wood notes and a lot of complexity. Less than dry, lightly/moderately bitter. Very nice indeed.
