un4gettable is one of our final beers to be put into barrels at our former home, famous for having our brewhouse and cellar that spanned across 10 storeys. This luscious barley wine has been patiently aging in rum and bourbon barrels for over 14 months.

un4gettable exhibits luscious flavours of fig, sherry, raisin, dates, hazelnut and biscuit. Despite an ABV of 12.6%, the beer is perfectly balanced to showcase the complex flavours without the alcohol being overpowering.

During MBCC 2023 Saturday afternoon session with Matt, Brian, Ryan, Phill, Erik, along with superhelpful, bossy, funny, and sarcastic Rachel, hehe. Aroma: some red apples, barrel. Taste: same, harsh, not very balanced. Overall: meh.

Tap. Unclear deep amber color with no head. Aroma is raisins and figs af, sherry, rum, almost overdone. Taste is the same, intense rum and raisins. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Intense and sweet, only good for a few sips.

Draft at MBCC 2023, Green session. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a thin broken off-white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, floral alcohol. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, treacle toffee, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with flat carbonation.

Flavours are there, but a bit young still. Sweet chewy dried fruits, barrel notes. Needs some time to meld
