Bottle from random gas pump. Mostly metallic and oxidized, not very good. Thin bodied and mostly bitter. Average macro at best.

50 cl can. Pours clear golden with white head. Aroma is mild: breakfast cereals, honey, a hint of herbs (that reminds me to certain extent of belgian strong ales). Taste is firm, fizzy and bitter, medium-lasting. Not that bad.

Can at home; present from my mates Hardy & Elsa. Pours deep golden with a white dense head. Aroma of grass and hay and light malt, surprsingly fruity notes as well. Distinct bitterness.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein klares goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hopfig, getreidig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig, grasig, lang anhaltende Bitterkeit.

Can from Bayreuth station. Clear gold lasting white head. Grainy pukey and all that’s wrong with lager in the wider world. Light in mouth and flavour. Hint of lemon on the finish. It’s a bit better than I initially thought but it’s still thin amd slightly metallic

Half-litre can: BBD 11 Aug 2014, poured at home into my rarely used ’Paderborner Goldpilsner’ vase shaped glass on 27 Sep 2013. Typical German Pilsner look, golden, bright, clear and clean: on top a snow white head of bubbles. The nose is grain and hay, with bread notes. The taste was refreshing and crisp in nature, dry hops leading the flavour stakes. The semi-sweet malt content is just about noticeable, just before the hops re-assert themselves in a bitter finish. I enjoyed it.

Can. Golden colour with a white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is grassy, light malty and fresh. Flavor has notes of hay, straw, grass, moderate bitterness with a short duration. Watery final.

Canned, 0.50l. Clear straw color with large frothy white head, lively bubbles and decent lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, grainy malt, yeast and lemongrass. Taste starts with mild malt and bready notes, then followed by grassy flavour. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is moderately bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively, but gentle carbonation in palate. Ordinary mainstream pilsener...
