500ml bottle. Opalescent, amber colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head, a handful of chunks float around. Minimally smoky, earthy malty and slightly grassy, hoppy aroma, a touch of burnt hay and protein. Taste is earthy, minimally smoky, grainy, minimally bready malty, slightly grassy hoppy, mild hop bitterness, hints of grey bread, a touch of burnt hay, protein, very subtle residual sweetness. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbnation. Rural, slightly dirty (in a positive mode), as Franconian as can be - good!

Mycket trevlig.

--Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. -- Lightly hazy deep golden, rich firm head. Grainy floral nose with some minerals. Dry with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready malt and spicy, floral grass. Dry and rather crisp for a kellerbier. Long bitter finish.

Hazy amber colour, white creamy foam. Nose is grassy, light smoky. Lots of carbonation. Malty, smoky with bitter grassy hoppy notes. Very unusual Franconian beer. A bit too harsh.

Fläschla: Hazy, deep orangey-golden coloured, loose but pretty stable white head, moderate bitter-sweet franconian aroma of sweet pale malt with a barnyardy touch and decent herbal hops; nearly moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite dry, pretty light bodied, pretty soft; lingering herbal-hoppy and malty finish. Well crafted, archetypal franconian stuff...

Trink a Kalk gibts einen Extrapunkt. (1.11.2022.)
