Stallhagen Original is a clear, straw-yellow Nordic lager. A bottom-fermented beer as the Nordic peoples like it. Stallhagen Original is a strong-flavoured, malty, fresh, medium-strength beer.
The head is white and lacy. The flavour is dry. The hop bitterness is well-balanced and rounded with a mild fragrance of hops and malt, while it has a clear aroma of grass and flowers.
Stallhagen Original is very drinkable and has outstanding freshness. It leaves a pleasant, very short and slightly fruity aftertaste, with hops and fresh white toast at the finish.
An excellent thirst-quencher and an all-round beer for serving with most foods, but especially grilled fish and roast chicken.

Kirkas kullankeltainen olut, jonka maussa makeahkoa maltaisuutta. Pesee mannersuomen virkaveljensä varsin mallikkaasti, hyvä lager Stallhagenilta.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a small, white head. The aroma is fruity and grassy, with pears, yellow apples and a hint of orange zest. It’s quite dry on the palate, yet sort of fruity sweet, a bit hard on the carbonation, and medium bodied. Decent bitterness in the flavor, which is mostly on the fruity side. Rather low on malt flavors, also in the finish. Fruity, lightly sweet finish with some bitterness trying to bring balance. A decent lager, but nothing special going on. 160722

33l bottle. Seems I haven´t rated this before, strange. Poured golden color with a thick white head. Aroma has wet hay, grass, mild buttery notes. flavor has hay, grass, mild harshness, grains. Slightly too sweet for me. unoffensive.

Clear golden color with a fine white head. Malty, herbal and mild fruity aroma. Ok body and an ok carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Malty, herbal and mild fruity flavor. Ok easy drinkable lager.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, 20120825) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, grain and grass. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was sweet and bitter. An easy-to-drink beer with stonger taste than I expected. Still too sweet and lacking edges I like.

Bottle (thanks "Roliga gubben"). This beer has got some good qualities. It’s sweet and bready. The malt does it thing. Too bad there are some disturbing strange, almost metalic notes.

Bottle. Pours light amber with just a small head. German aroma with some vegitables. Smooth mouthfeel, too much leftover sweetness.
