(50 cl bottle from Systembolaget) Clear golden color, small white head. Sweet malty and acidic scent, also grainy. Malty dry taste. A bit thin mouthfeel, sweet aftertaste. Medium bitterness.

Can. A beer i never tried for 0.49 cts was a steal. Golden color, medium white head. Hoppy aromas. GRassy, malt taste. Pretty decent pilsner.

500ml Bottle picked up at the Grog shop, Jericho, Oxford 29-07-06. Golden in colour, some hoppiness and malts detected in the aroma, one of those fairly standard types that is neither offensive or exciting,

Bottle. Much better than the 4.1 version.Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. OK hoppy aroma. Short bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Golden colour with a white long lasting head. Some grassy, hoppy flavor with a malty background. A malty flavour with some hoppy aftertaste. Nice balanced.

Golden color, small head, some lace. Sweet hoppy, woody nose. Sweet hoppy, grassy, typical Bohemian pilsener. Balanced.

(Bottle 50 cl) I’m having a hard time pronouncing this. It comes out as something close to "Super" - perhaps a good excercise at a drinking party? Classical pale lager with a decent head. Lovely aroma from the good Saazer. Full-bodied, rather dry beer with a pronounced bitterness. Usual high Czech standard.

Canned(330ml). -pale golden coloured, little white head, malty and light hoppy aroma, mild bitter finish

I was talking to a friend, and he told me that he recently had 3 Czech beers he’d never seen before, and bought them in a shop reasonably near my house. A shop I never checked out for beers before thinking that it carried only a few most common beers (like 99% of other little shops in the part of town I live in). And, partially hidden by some Zlatorog cans, I found a 0.33 can of this. Yay. No trace of the other two, but the friendly lady at the register told me that they would get them again soon. Yay again. So, on to the beer. Has 5.1 alc.vol. according to the can, but that’s the same thing really. Has a nice orange/gold colour with a thick white head, and had NO trace of floaties. The nose is mostly malt and dust. Lively carbonation. It has quite a pleasant taste, fruity, malty, and no hops I could detect. I could also detect some lemon. It’s pretty good in my opinion and way underrated here.
