Wheat Beer is a pale, unfiltered, and light-bodied beer. Strissel Spalt hops from the Alsace region of France are used to create its very refreshing and smooth character.

35cl bottle at home. clear yellow, smooth offwhite creamy head. hoppy and citrus candy and yellow fruity aroma.wheat, faint alc. flavor is wheat, faint ctrus, faint yellow fuits, not unlike whatโs in a belgian blonde, faint spices. the complete flavor profile is not mild or faint, but medium strong. it is a little strange for a weissbier, but it is rather tasty once you get around the strangeness.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a glass. Pours a dark hazy golden color. The taste is wet wheat that is a little bitter. Apparently Sierra Nevada has replaced this beer with Kellerweis, which is an excellent choice.

35.5cl bottle, Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a fluffy, slightly off-white foamy head. Fresh and fruity, slightly zesty hoppy aroma with light wheat-malt in the background. Bitter and slightly sour flavour, light bodied with a sparkling carbonation. Light to moderate wheat-character with yeasty spice and citric hops; dry and citrus-fruity, moderately bitter hoppy and yeasty finish. Likeable. 30.VIII.09

Overall Impression: A pretty average wheat beer offering from Sierra, not much else to say about this one at this time, as I haven't had one in a while and I'm going off an old rating.

Bottle served in shaker. Smells hopy like an american pale ale. Not much taste, just a smooth beer with a citrusy hop finish.

Bottle. Hoppy aroma and flavor for a wheat beer. Very shy and boring beer. Way too clean and watery.

Bottle, 12oz. A clear, golden beer with a finger-thick, white head leaving some lacings. Sweet, piney, citrusy nose with some grains in the back. Medium body, nicely carbonated. Some lemony sourness goes well with the lemony hops in the flavor, and goes well with the grains. The finish has a pleasant bitterness, well suited for the beer. A quite fruity beer working properly as a refresher, still itโs sort of disappointing, meaning that itโs too close to a well-brewed lager beer. Wouldnโt mind having this readily available here in Norway though. (090419)

12 Fl.oz. bottle picked up at Centra Colosseum in Oslo and consumed at my hotel room. Rocky white foam over a hazy, straw coloured body. Smell of citric wheat. Rather anonymous in the taste profile, except for some hints of spices, herbs and citrus fruits. Quite well balanced, being neither too sweet nor too acidulous. Foamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Middle-of-the-road [Oslo, 22.01.2009].
