Deceptively simple, yet beautifully nuanced. A basic grain bill of 100% Euro Pils malt and light Pahto and Czech Saaz hop additions support insanely complex Belgian yeast esters and phenols, with notes of bubble gum, candied orange, pear and light pepper spice dominating. It's a riot of aromas from start of glass to finish. Definitely drink it now, but cellar some to compare with a version that is aging in white wine and cognac barrels until winter.

355ml can. Pours a hazy straw colour with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Aroma of pale malt, Belgian yeast, pear, black pepper and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of pale malt, orange zest, pear, apricot, Belgian yeast, clove, black pepper, floral hops and a hint of booze in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty smooth. The ABV is well hidden. Looking forward to trying the BA version!
