Bow to no one is an American style barley wine. Unapologetically classic and true to style just the way we want this style of beer to be.

Can 440ml @ yngwie
Pours hazy reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, caramel and dried fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. A lightly unclear dark chestnut colored beer with a nice, dense beige head. Some curtains. The aroma has a good dash of alcohol, in a really nice way. Caramel, bread, dark toffee, some dark dried fruit and a light piney hint. Almost ham-like smoke in the back. Delicious and smooth. It’s full-bodied, warming and softly carbonated, and not too sweet. A good bitterness helps controlling the sweetness too. It feels a bit harshly bitter in the mouth though, but there’s lots of other good things going on so it doesn’t matter much. Caramel, toffee, dark bread crust, some prunes and raisin, and a good piney, grapefruity hop touch. Tannin rich finish. Delicious indeed this one. A bit young perhaps, hope I’ll be able to taste it when matured some time too. 220410
