Can thanks to Trevor hot from the land of cheese and beer. Pours a reddish hue with a medium white head. A big sweet malty nose, berries. Rich layers of flavor, yeast, bubblegum, dark burnt toffee, raisins. Very flavorful. Fall and Christmas flavors.

Can from Woodman's in Waukesha. Pours a deep brown with a full two fingers of beige head that builds, then dissipates. Lovely aromas of clove, cinnamon and banana bread alongside fig and baker's chocolate as it warms. Palate is very similar with the clove notes really standing out. Fig, prune and spiced date notes come out as it warms....cinnamon and clove on the finish. Sweet and malt focused with a light peppery, herbal hop note on the finish. Very nice!

12oz can. This one is great. Deep malt and yeast nuances, rich caramel, big red fruits almost a candy cherry tone. Not overbearing in its alcohol, remains drinkable despite being quite full bodied. Not really quite on the level of the classics, but significantly better than a standard brewpub example. Wish it was in bottles, but still a really nice surprise and return to form.

12 ounce can from Ridgeview Liquor, 4/19/23. Deep red, medium off-white head, poor retention. Aroma of bready malt, banana, cherry, some mild herbal hop. Taste is banana, cherry, bready, spice, hint of anise. Well balanced, booze well hidden. Tad bit thin. Overall quite nice.
