Blackcurrant aroma and flavor. Sweetish. Hints of chocolate, roast and smoke. Very fruity, but not very else else to add depth. Nevertheless very likeable.

From a 330ml bottle on 28/2/2013. Pours a clear medium amber with a largish head. Not much to the aroma, just some mild malt tones. The flavour is okay, but relatively muted, with some sweet toffee, a bit of toast, and some stone fruit. The bitterness is light and the carbonation medium. Drinkable but far from exciting.

There’s an aroma of dried bread bordering on salada biscuits with some dirty socks and glaced cherries. The hops are more obvious in the mouth, with some grapefruit followed by boiled lollies and a little honey. The body is light and it’s not too long, but it’s quite a refreshing drop.

Bottle. Reddish amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, malty notes with some berry fruit and a moderately bitter finish. All a bit subdued.

At Papsoe’s pre CPH Beer Fest tasting, cheers Henrik! Clear brown beer, medium soft palate. Low carbonation. Mild malt, just a little fruity hop coming through at the end. Bland.

Bottle. Amber colour with a medium lasting head. Aroma of light roasted malt and some chocolate. Slight smoked feel in the flavour, chocolate malt and a hop dry finish. Texture is a little watery

Bottle. Pours clear, amber-red with a thin, creamy white head. Malty, nutty aroma with some bready caramel. Lightly sweet, more light caramel and toffee, along with some faint, earthen bitters. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with a dirty malt character and faint toast. Not that bad, just about average.

Bottled. A chestnut colored beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has ntoes of caramel, malt, nuts, and metal. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel and lighter notes of fruit, spices, metal, nuts, and caramel, leading to a lightly bitter finish.
