Grassy, hoppy, peppery aroma. Grassy flavor with apple. Thinnish. Grainy aftertaste. Disappointing. Thanks MoritzF for the bottle!

Bottle 500 ml. Golden color, clear, good white head. Aroma: good malt, a little bread, spicy-flower hops. Taste: pils malt, ripe grain, spicy-grassy hops, light hop bitterness, pure.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma, some malty spiciness. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, grassy and mildly bitter hoppy overtones, slightly metallic finish.

330ml green bottle bought at Systembolaget Storheden, shared with djoeye. Huge bubbly, chalk white head to a clear, late straw coloured body. Fair lacing down the glass. Mild aroma of grass and pale malts. Fresh fruity taste with grainy malts beneath. Restrained bitter endnotes. Smooth in the mouth. Just alright to drink (hotel room, Luleå 25.05.2014).

500ml bottle. Pale yellow-tan color. Thin, oily head. The aroma is kind of old and approaches putrid buttery. The body is soft, but the flavor just isn’t there. I’m sure this isn’t the freshest example. Lemony cardboard finish. Not good.

0,5 l bottle, in my opinion too much gold on the label. Pours pale golden, small short living head. More than average carbonation. Grainy and honey for the nose. Starts malty. Followed by cereals and low hops. Ends with long lasting light hop bitterness. Typical Pilsener out of central germany.

500 ml bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear pale straw color with a small white head with decent retention, that reduces to a thin lace that lingers. Minimal lacing clings on the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation retaining the thin head. Aromas of apple, pear, honey, grape, cracker, bread, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of malt/fruity ester notes with a fair amount of hop presence; and solid strength. Taste of pear, apple, cracker, grape, honey, bread, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of light fruits, cracker, bread, honey, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice and pleasant balance of malt/fruity ester flavors with a fair amount of hops; with solid flavor robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a solid Pilsener. Good balance of malt/hop/fruity ester flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

Pour is a straw yellow with a large white head. Aroma is dry pils malt with a little burning in there. Flavor is again a light pale pils malt with a little burning flavor in the end. This must have gone bad somewhere along the journey.
