October 2025:
0.5l bottle at U Zmajevom Gnijezdu, Ivanić Grad. Hazy pale golden body, laaasting white head. Sweetish grape-lychee aroma, light maltiness. Sweetish, pleasant taste, heaps of lychee, citric notes, low bitterness. Actually quite nice! More of a hazy than an old school pale ale, but hey.
September 2024:
0.33l bottle from Interspar (Mall of) Split. Hazy orange-golden body, off-white head sticking around. Creamy orange peel, herbal, lightly yeasty notes in the aroma, maybe a touch of caramel, lightly minerally. Nice soft tropical taste, soft clean maltiness, slightly caramelly, vaguely vaguely candyish, bit minerally again, very low bitterness. I'm actually kinda digging this - would love to try it on tap, fresh, and I'll be glad to rerate it if I do. It's slightly showing age here, and Interspar's shelves aren't ideal aging grounds for this style, but it's holding up fine. 8/6/6/8/6.5

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy copper pour, three finger creamy white head, long lasting, very good retention. Sticky lacing on the glass. Not much going on on the nose, herbal and grassy notes, faint citruses in the background. Medium body, medium carbonation, lively. Average mouthfeel and texture, light, slightly watery, fizzy. Bittersweet taste, light sour notes in the background. Aroma of malt, grass, yeast. Citrus and herbal notes, spice, minerals. Medium lasting finish, dry, lingering bitterness. Not bad.

On tap at U zmajevom gnijezdu (In the Dragons Nest), Ivanić Grad. Hazy orange to amber, small to medium off-white head. Sediment visible. Aroma is moderately hoppy, fresh hops, stone fruit, peach, melon and soft tropical notes. Some citrus in the back, tangerine and some bready malts. Quite fresh. Flavour is fruity, stone fruit, peach, some cherry, some candy, tropical and citrus notes and malts. Soft to moderate carbonation, medium body, some sweetness, slightly creamy, not cloying, light bitterness. Light dry finish.

Bottled 330ml. -from local Spar. Amberish coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, floral and light caramel nose. Sweet malty, biscuity, light floral and fruity with caramel sweetness in the finish.

Tap at Craft Room. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Medium caramelly sweetness up front, overtaken by moderate bitterness. Light medicinal chlorphenol too. Moderate flowery citrusy hops character. Overall good but not great.

Tap at Craf Room, Zagreb. Amber orange color with white head. Aroma of citrus hops, oranges, zest. Taste is moderate hoppy with oranges, zest, light grapefruit. Medium bodied beer.
