250 ml bottle. Pours amber with full head and lots of carbonation. Aromas of fruity esters, st Feuillien yeast, dull stoned fruit and wheaty malts. Flavors follow same though sharper in hops profile, leading to a bitter finish.

opalescent yellow colour, moderate sized dense ivory coloured head; aroma of green herbs, basil, grassy, some lemongrassy, green tea, apple an pear (peel); taste is quite malt-dominant with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma and some hoppy-bitterness; correct one

I get seriously suspicious when I read 'ascorbic acid' on a beer ingredients list and this one adds even more things that to me do not belong in beer, but given the other options (the blonde Grisette and a Mongozo) at Epiphany's Kitchen, a vegetarian restaurant in Ghent, had to go for this one yesterday evening. Medium thick, off-white, moussey, slowly breaking head over a clear, pure golden blonde robe. Aroma of white bread, candied lemon peel, touch mandarin, banana, lemongrass, chalk, peach, soapy note. Cleanly fruity onset, hints of peach, banana and apple but all restrained, fizzy carbonation with smooth, rounded, lean mouthfeel; white bready maltiness, bit thinnish and sweetish (white candi syrup-y) working to a mildly hop bitter, medium long finish in which admittedly a pleasant orange- and pomelo-like citrusiness appears, adding a certain fraîcheur. Thinner, cleaner and simpler than the conceptually comparative Duvel Tripel Hop Citra (or other Belgian 'tripel hops'), slender and frankly a bit boring, but somehow a bit more citrus-hoppy than I was expecting. Drinkable, but very ordinary in this day and age.

Bottle at The Sister, Brssel. Has a hazy orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma of grass, lime, spicy hops, Belgian yeast and white bread. Flavour of grass, lime, Belgian yeast, bread, orange peel and grassy hops. Has a slick mouth feel, medium to full body and a medium bitterness. Malty and hoppy.

Wee bottle from Lowcostbeer. If pours clear golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is crackery, cereal, sweet pear, melon, touch of mango, pineapple, baked goods, white bread and biscuit. The taste is bitter - sweet, firm dryness, quite fruity, estery pear, melon, apple, mango, pineapple, twist of orangey citrus, touch of candy, slightly floral, straw, warming spice and pleasing boozey feel through the finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Not much depth, but it has nice fruity character, almost like pic n mix. Decent.

Rocky white head on an unclear vivid golden coloured body. Belgian yeast, clove & citrus. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingle on the back & cloying aft. Sweet citrus, bubble gum, peach, yeast & tangy hop tastes with a peppery burn on the finish. Decent Tripel.

Bottle from Low Cost Beers. Appearance - pale yellow and very clear. Snow white head. Nose - creamy lemon, white pepper and banana. Taste - more of the same. The yeast element completely dominates any attempt to get involved by Citra. I was expecting it to be more orangey. Palate - light bodied, zesty middle and refreshing finish. Overall - good, though I couldn't tell this from the base beer which doesn't have the Citra hop.

Huge, dense & fine yellowish to cream head over lively carbonated clear orange copper beer. Bit sugary, caramelly nose, dry leaves, white candi sugar, spicy/peppery. Bitterish, leafy, but with a good sweetish, caramel malt underbuild. Finish is harshere, metallic bitter, again leafy/vegetable. Warming up, the malt/sweetness increases, bringing some ripe pineapple flavour. Spritzy carbonation, creamy texture, bit sticky, almost viscous. Hops turn out too metallic. " Fautes à éviter " , we learned in school. Txs to Stef!
