Bottle 37.5cl. corked & caged bought 11/2018 from Belgium in a Box @home poured into a teku glass. Cherry and wood nose. Clear ruby red, good moussy pink head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma sour cherries, almonds/marzipan, wood, light barnyard notes. Juicy tart taste, above medium sweet, below medium sour and light bitter, sour cherries, cherry jam, light marzipan, light lemon peel, wood. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation, lingering, fruity sweet and sour aftertaste, woody accents, subtle vinous notes, very fruit forward and elegant kriek, fruit sticks till the end, excellent.
