Imagine if your favourite beer was the much celebrated, cult celebrity Old Freddy Walker, and you got a chance to brew a session strength version of it. Well, that happened to Simon from the Real Ale Craft Beer channel when he came to brew with us. The much more sensible Steady Walker brings all of the loveliness of its big brother and slims it down to a much more sessionable 4.8% that you can drink all autumn and winter long.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2022 - day 2. Pours clear russet with a bubbly, tan head. Light sweet flavour with notes of burnt malts, leathery berries, earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly dry to finish, light roast, earthy bitterness, beaten leather. Not bad.
