Robust and complex, our Porter is a bittersweet tribute to the legendary freighter’s fallen crew—taken too soon when the gales of November came early.

0.355l can. Dark brown body with a ruby hue and a light brown head. Aroma and taste of caramel, raisins, dates, cocoa, coffee and some grassy hops. Nice porter. I'm really happy to be able to try another good beer from Michael Jackson's Great Beer Guide. Gotta catch'em all!

Bottle (9/20/25) from Eddy's Beverage Center, Saratoga Springs. Clear, dark brown with garnet hues, light sparkle, ephemeral head with no lacing. Aroma is roasted malt with toffee, molasses. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Decent, non-adjuncted porter.
