The Pre-Prohibiton style beer was originally brewed exclusively in the Louisville area. Prohibition caused many lager breweries to close, never to open again. With few breweries in Kentucky reopening after Prohibition, this style became nearly extinct. As of late, brewers have tried to resurrect this 'dead' style. Our take on the Kentucky Common features American 6-row malt, large amounts of corn and rye, and a trio of American hops, culminating in a smooth ale with a slightly higher rye spiced finish.

Nutty toffee malt and fresh hay aroma. Amber with nice head. Moderately sweet toffee malt and mildly bitter fresh hay flavor. Good body. Solid.
