Bottle from Ughsmash, thanks! Light orange color, cloudy. Flowery hoparomawith clove and tangerine. Firm hopbitter flowery and oily fklavor that oddly enough coincides well with the mandarine curacao, vanilla and banana flavors of the weizen. Slightly alcoholic vanilla pudding aftertaste.

Sample at Kurtkeller 028: Wisconsin-tastic 01 on 06/10/2018. Pours a cloudy dark orange-gold color with a medium thick frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of citrus, yeast, hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of lemon, peppery yeast, malt and hops. The finish is citrus and yeast. Pretty good all around.

Got in a trade with GreenBayBA. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 8/26/2018. Pours moderately hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger dense, creamy, and rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Insane appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, banana, bubblegum, peach, pear, pineapple, melon, red apple, peppercorn, clove, cinnamon, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus hops, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, banana, bubblegum, peach, pear, pineapple, melon, red apple, peppercorn, clove, cinnamon, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness, herbal/floral/grassy bitterness; and slight wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, grapefruit, banana, bubblegum, peach, pear, pineapple, melon, red apple, peppercorn, clove, cinnamon, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus hops, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. High carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly crisp/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 9.6%. Overall this is an amazing weizenbock! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus hops, and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink for the big ABV, with the moderately bitter/spicy/drying finish. Easily one of the best Helles Weizenbocks I've ever had, though not traditional. Perfectly balanced citrusy Cascade hops, German weizen yeast, and pale/wheat malts. A highly amazing offering, and spot on style example; other than the citrusy American hop notes.

I got this bottle in a trade with Wasatch. Thanks John!
This pours a cloudy orange yellow with a huge 3 finger, ever growing, head of foam. Lots of lacing and bubbles here and the head retention is very very good. This is a very nice looking brew in my glass.
The smell is very complex with notes of banana, wheat, clove, and some lemon.
The taste is as good as the smell! Plenty of banana and clove followed closely by a nice wheat flavour and some lemon hoppy goodness which, btw, just adds a bit of bittereness and is no way near in control and that's how it should be. Nice. Oh, did I mention there's quite a bit of caramel sweetness here as well? I didn't? My bad. Another thing that impresses me is that this is 9.6%abv...I would have never guessed!!
It's medium bodied, the carbonation starts of very lively but settles down after a while, and it finishes with another nice kick of clove, lemon, and banana. I'm really impressed with this souped up Hefeweizen and I give kudos out to New Glarus for brewing it, and Wasatch again for sending it my way!

Nicely done. Some citrus and a hint of smoke. Some light sugary malt and a little booze. Pours hazy orange with decent head and some floaties. Light sweet finish with some malty tang. Nice stuff, and great for style. Touch of banana. Bottle thanks to arminjewell.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly hazy dark yellow with 3 fingers of thick white head that just lasts and lasts. Aroma of clove, dank wheat, citrus. Taste is light sweet and follows aroma. Good beer. Different, and not what I was expecting, but very good.

Bottle - gift from friend. Sour wheat malt, spice, and alcohol aroma. Hazy honey gold with a large off-white head. Banana, clove, slightly sour wheat, and alcohol flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation. I suspect this bottle was past it’s prime, but it was still way too boozy for my personal taste.

Hazy Amber Orange Color, Huge Long Lasting Foamy Head, Lots Of Thick Lacing. Nice Mild Floral Hop Aroma. Floral Pine Hop Bite Up Front, Fruity, Sweet Malt, Resin Finish. Medium Body, Creamy, Smooth. Since I did Not Get any Wheat, It Reminds Me of A Double IPA. Nice. Really Easy To Drink, Would Never Guess this packs 9.25% Punch. Enjoyed. Good Stuff. Recommended...

Bottle with thanks to RobertDale! Pours cloudy orange amber with a huge puffy off-white head that lasts forever and leaves a lot of clumpy lacing. Aroma is wheat, lemon, pine, clove, citrus. Flavor is dry and strong, almost vinous with wheat, lemon, lemon zest, a bit of pine sol, just a tiny bit of clove. Lingering zesty bitterness, and almost gets a little sweeter on the finish. Mouthfeel is rich and heavily carbonated, with some ABV burn action going on, but not too bad. Definitely scores some points for originality!
