On tap at Heim Hamar. A black one topped by a dense finger thick dark beige head. Lacing. Burnt, roasted malts, dark chocolate, some coffee grit. It's rather thin on the palate, quite dry, but sweeter than Guinness. Soft carbonation. Dark chocolate and coffee grit flavor, but mostly burnt and roasted malts. Lasting finish. A bit thin but quite decent anyway. 241025

14/10/2024. Tap at BrewDog Gatwick Airport, part of a pre-flight flight. Pours close to black with a small lasting frothy beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, dried fruits, toffee, treacle and liquorice. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Moderate body, quite smooth, average carbonation. Enjoyable and best of the 4 on the flight.

0,44l can from Yeme in Bratislava. Head is medium, tanned, good retention. Colour is black, opaque. Aroma is roasted tones, chocolate, coffee, dark bread, caramel. Taste is light malty base, dark bread crust, roasted tones, strong coffee, chocolate touch, decent bitterness from hops and roastiness, soft carbonation, nice, enjoyed.

Can from føtex @ Home. Pours black with a creamy tan head, some lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, toasted bread, light caramel, coffee. Flavor is light bitter, roast malt, toasted, light ash, little caramel, coffee. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, light bitter finish. 270924

Protokollført på høstmøtet i a/s Nor-Horn, hvor vi nå er på På Skyggesiden (bokstavelig, ikke i overført betydning). Meget velskjenket fra fat: nesten helt svart med tett beige cremeskum som holdt følge under hele møteavslutningen. Fløyelsmyk med mørke malter, sjokolade, vanilje, lakris og kaffe. Deilig maltkropp selv om den klokker inn på beskjedne 4,1. So stylish.
