Bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop in Durham. Pours a reddish brown with a medium head. Moderate retention and good lacing. Big sweet, floral hop aroma. Oily, citrus, pine hops taste. A little too vegetal but still nice.

Deep amber with medium white head. Sweet aroma with notes of caramel, grapefruit and floral hops. Flavor likewise with loads of hops leading to a solid bitter end. Nice!

(Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-01-24) Clear. Amberish in colour. White head. Lots of hops in nose. And in the taste there are more hops. Medium-bodied.

Medium offwhite lasting head. Amber body. Intense tropical fruit hop aroma with malty notes. Slightly catty. Dry-and-sweet intense catty tropical fruit hop taste with a roasty caramelly malt background. Clean, sharpish mouthfeel, lghtly chalky. Long, powerful aftertaste. The bitterness settles in the mouth. (0.5l bottle at Bishop’s Arms, Göteborg. Brewed Oct ’07.)

Bomber pours with a slight haze and body that is brown-ish orange. The tan head hangs on for a while with weak spotty lacing. Nice classic fruity aroma of grapefruit, orange and pine grassiness. I think I smell wood too. Maybe its just a mix of mild malts and hops. The taste is a brief grapefruit hop bite followed by big pine hop bitterness with a moment of sweet malts and orange candy. It ends a bit slick with medium pine bitterness and mild sweet maltiness.

Aroma of floral and citrus hop. Maybe some malt. Hazy amber color with large bubble white head that laces slightly. Near full bodied with creamy carbonation. The flavor is fruit hop, maybe citrus hop, and a little caramel. This is not balanced. The finish is hop bitter. With fruit notes. Ok, some caramel sweet is present. But it’s still 100 IBU, so there must not be a lot of sugars, or else there is an impressive amount of hop. Fulfilled my hop desires.

650 ml bottle from Davidson’s in Centennial, CO enjoyed at my Holiday Mini Tasting. Pour is hazy orange with a loose off white head. Aroma of big pine hops with rock candy sweetness. Taste is big with the piney hops - really big, juniper Gin and its scope. Some straw / hay in the finish. The after taste also has some weird honey spiciness that lingers. Someone else mentioned plastic, and there certainly is something not quite natural to this taste. This one was well made, just not sure I took to the overall taste profile.
