Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 1/24/2014. Pours lightly cloudy bright orange amber color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good complexity of hop notes with a light-moderate malt presence; and good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest, lemon zest, pine, floral, grass, bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of spicy pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pine, floral, grass, bread, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of citrus/grassy hop flavors with light-moderate malt presence; with a nice crisp malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice wet hop IPA. All around good complexity and balance of bright citrus/grassy hops with a fair amount of malt presence; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle, Systembolaget. Clear dark orange with a white head. This was not as hoppy as expedted, maybe the bottle was old? Grass, some herbal notes, light pineapple and citrus. Also light malt. Drinkable but not that impressive to be honest.

Pours a deep amber with ample head. Aroma is equal parts malt and hops. Flavor is dominated by the malt with strong, bitter hops in the backbone. Full mouthfeel with bitter finish. Not bad, not bad at all.

1 pint bottle straight from Colorado, respect! Pours amber, surprisingly clear, decent top. Aroma nicely hoppy but rather simple - mild aroma, just as the description is saying. Taste is some peach sweetness turning into hop bitterness - resembling rowan berries. Tanning agents wrap around your tongue, bittersweet aftertaste. Mouthfeel somewhat estery, medium bodied. Very happy to try this hoppy one!

Bomber. Pours a copper color with a good finger of white foam. Aroma is malt and grassy hops. Taste is sweet and malty followed by grassy, lemony hops. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a mildly bitter finish.

22oz bottle. Decent IPA - nothing overly unique in it’s complexity. Certainly easy to drink, smooth and refined. Lacks that distinct punch common in world class IPAs.
