Wineglass showing deep amber with no head.

The nose shows moderately intense notes of mildly ripe peaches.

The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Highly tart with light fruit forwardness of peach.

Poured from a 2022 vintage, 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruity with nice apricot notes and lighter grape notes. Hints of lemon and a light, earthy, herbal funk. Light oak and grain notes. Hints of alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy, dull, copper-orange color with a medium sized, medium thick, white head that recedes quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing and small legs. Flavor is fairly acidic and a bit sharp with light grain notes. Low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong notes of tart apricots with lighter grape and lemon notes. Hints of oak. Lingering acidity in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, the aroma is nice and fruity but this beer is too sour for my preferences. The fruit notes are nice, especially the apricot but the get washed away by the acidity.

Apricots, fresh, and like the other bofkont it’s sharp and astringent, gets subtler after a while.
