Double Dry Hopped Broccoli takes our Broccoli to the next level. Brewed with lots of wheat, oats, Cascade, Hallertau Blanc, Mosaic and Simcoe. We then hit it again with second dose of all those hops plus Simcoe and Mosaic lupulin powder.

Tap, LKBW. Hazy ellow golden, foamy white head, nonlasting. Nice citrusy nose, slightly fruity sweet, bubblegum candy, dank, nice. Medium bitterness, mild citruses, mildly sweet. Medium aftertaste. Mild and nicely hidden alcohol. Lighter body. Proper stuff.

[ As Other Half Broccoli ].
ABV: 7.9%. Murky medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate to heavy hoppy, herbs, citrus, grapefrit, tropical fruit, exotic fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, citrus - grapefruit, herbs, tropical fruit, exotic fruit, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Super hazy, deep copper and super straw coloured body with a large, five to six centimetre tall rich tan head that stays afloat nicely above the 90 per cent opaque glowing body. Aroma of grass, hay, flowers, light citrus and a good deal of both alpha acid bitterness from the hops and a lot of sweetness still present. Medium-bodied; Strong candy-like sweetness at first with a big grassy and floral malt presence right afterwards, with some light resin and citrus fruit notes from the hops as well, with a kick of the grassy, almost vegetal punch near the end, that balances things out nicely and also gives off some alcohol warmth at the end. Aftertaste is relatively clean and crisp with the hops strongest forward along with some grassy and herbal notes, but pretty sweet and showing some alcohol warmth near the end as well. Overall, a pretty nice New England IPA with a candy-like sweetness and strong grassy and floral bite throughout. Great to try, especially super fresh, as Brocolli is my favourite vegetable in the world! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Bread & Honey in New York (56th @ 8th Avenue), New York on 04-December-2021 for US$7,19, canned on 17-November-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 03-February-2022.

16 oz can shared by ClarkVV. Thanks! Aroma is citrus, Flavor is citrus hops, tropical fruit, some pale malts. Hints of spicy or danky finish. A bit to heavy on the spicy/ dank for my own palate.

Canned 1/9/23, drunk 1/21/23. Mod-to-hvly hazy, bright tangerine juice. Small, white head to ring. Wow for all the garbage hops in this beer (I strongly dislike to hate all of these hops), this smells kind of incredible. Dank, spicy, lightly tropical. Just sublime with a good infusion of honey-like malts. Clean, no alcohol, onion or resin. Soft, malty, spicy. One of the few times mosaic is good. But when this hop is good, it's great (like .01% of the time). Apricot, kumquat, dank spice, great maltiness. Good attenuation. No alcohol or resin. Impressive. One of the few breweries who can utilize this hop correctly.

473ml. can. @Riveiros, Valencia (Spain). 03/12/2022 [#5.693 Global - #892 United States of America - #21 Other Half] Pours hazy orange gold with a big pale creamy head. Aroma: tangerine, crisp green hops and grapes skin. Taste: big tropical fruits, pine and tangerine. Mild hop spice aftertaste. Next one please!
