Bottle. Dark brown color. Malty aroma with chocolate cake. Malty sweetish, slightly alcoholic flavor with cacao. Thin, watery mouthfeel. Could be much better with more body, I really liked the dark chocolate flavors.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Clear dark mahogany colour, small head. Caramle and light lemon up front. Sweetish with quick rounded malt. Slim with cranberry and slight molasses. Low bitterness.

On tap at Pint Bokbierfestival 09. This beer was totally off. Hazy amber brown colour, off white head. Aroma of poop, yeast gone wrong, roasted malts. Flavour was the same, so not really pleasant. Bummer.

Bottled. An unclear chestnut colores beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, honey, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, honey, and nuts, leading to a dry caramel finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 30 cl. Almost clear reddish brown with a dense and lacing beige head. Rustic, woody, burned caramel in the nose. Solid body, hard roasted malts and chocolate, rather hoppy finish. 111009

30cl bottle, Hazy, ruby colour with a short beige foamy head. Sweet dark and toasty malty aroma with a distinctive fruity touch of red berries, accompanied by notes of caramel and licorice. Sweet flavour with a touch of roasty bitterness, full bodied with a calm carbonation. Toast-malty and distinctively berry- and zesty-fruity taste with caramel, lighter spicy notes; sweet and slightly burnt bitter and fruity finish with traces of warming alcohol. Strange and not that satisfying Doppelbock ྷ.VIII.09).

Bottle, 7.5%. Spicy aroma, lots of herbs almost like a Kräuterbitter. Dark brown colour. Spicy, herbal flavour, getting a bit sour. The sourness may be from too much aroma hop. Herbal aroma in the nose in the finish.
