In our search for sour-bitter combinations, we infused a beer, barrel aged for about a year, with dried wormwood flowers from our garden, together with some cedrate lemons, kumquat and bitteroranges from Sicily.

Rated at Hitas Beer Lounge - Platinum Edition. Herbal, spicy and tartish with some blood orange juice, sourness and funky farmyardy notes, hints of bitterness and soapy notes. Interesting and quite herbal

Bottle at Estonian Tallinn Friends tasting. Thinbody, med-high carbonation. Unnaturally high bitterness, but it is of herbal origin, no boring hops. Tart-bitter mouth-puckering for a bit. Low sweetness, considerable tartness. Really nice wormwood showcase, I like it.

Pours clear, golde, darker yellow. Small white head. Scent is intense, very aromatic lemon, zesty, complex, aromatically (spiced) . Taste is dry, very complex, lots of lemon aroma. Zesty, but oh so balanced. medium acidity. Bitter finish, it works really well !

Flaska från Antidoot, 2023. Klar ljusguldig med vit krona. Rejält citruspackat i doften som möter upp malörten. Citronigt, citrusskal. Samma i smaken - oerhört snyggt balanserat mellan citrusen och malörten. Fin citronsyra. Imponerande hur citrusen klarar av att matcha malörten, och hur snyggt det blir tillsammans. Beskan från citrusskal övergår sömlöst till malörten. Oerhört gott.

0,75l bottle at Carnivale Brett, Amsterdam. yellow cloudy color, small white head. smells herbal, citric, parfumy, light toffee, grassy. Very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes bitter, bitter oranges, grassy, earthy. finishes rather dry and light to medium sour with notes of bitter oranges, pepper and tobacco notes. Nice one, rather bitter, but I very much like this
