St. Bridget, a legendary Irish saint, created a sensation by turning her bathwater into beer. What better way to celebrate her worthy miracle than with our zymurgistic tribute to her feat, St. Bridget’s Porter. St. Bridget’s is a smooth, elegant, and chocolaty brown porter. Brimming with coffee and chocolate characteristics from dark barley malts, St. Bridget’s is carefully hopped to provide the perfect complement to its malty robustness.

35,5cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a creamy brown head & amazing lacings. Aroma is roasted malts - chocolate & smoke mainly. Filling & smooth body. An ashy edge & chcolate dominates throughout. Bitter roasted end. Pretty good, though not the best brew from Great divide, not the worst either!

Sampler at Cardinal Liquors, Frankfort. Great, um, "robust" appearance. A little lighter smell, not too many roasties in evidence. However, the taste is nice and mellow. A smooth porter drink with a nice clean finish.

bottle- Dark reddish brown with large but not lasting head. Aroma is liquorice and black currant. Flavour is somewhat roasty with notes of liquorice and black currant. I also found it just a little bit too thin and a little bit over carbonated. I’ve had better Porters.

Bottle: Dark brown pour with a small tan head. Thick lacing. Nose of heavy roast, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is packed with lots of heavy roasted malt, dark chocolate, and coffee. A little hop bitters and roast in the tail. Creamy and smooth.

Bottle. Pour is dark brown with a medium sized speckled tan head. Aroma is earthiness and roast / cocoa. Taste has a nice roasted maltiness too it, with some of cocoa poking through also. Body and finish are a bit quick and thin.
