Unfortunately this beer looks nice, but tastes horrible. Aroma is as mentioned before beeswax, sweet and tobacco. Extremely unbalanced, smells like I imagine a beehive smelling. Taste is on par and even worse. Watery mouthfeel but then it starts getting horrible, artificial, beeswaxiness, tastes like it has gone off. Finish is disgusting. Like licking a tyre. Eugh. Disappointing, I usually like their beers.

I love porter style beers. And I (somewhat) love honey. So, a porter beer enriched with honey aroma sounds very interesting. However, "interesting’ doesn’t always translate into "good". So. Good idea went wrong, and you know it the moment you open the bottle. You don’t smell beer, you smell pure honey. Taste is not much different either. There’s just no beer to be found in there! And porter beers are usually pretty strong and intense with their taste and aroma. Not the case here, tho. Honey killed the beer. Overall, it tastes like a cheap cola with intense honey. I can’t even call this one a beer. Not my cup of tea.

Appearance is dark, caramel brown, with a large rocky light brown head. Aroma- lots and lots of honey. Chocolatey malt hints, caramel, chocolate biscuit, slight nuttiness, but all about the honey. Taste- honey sweetness dominates. Toffee, caramel, glazed fruitcake, dark chocolate malts, slick and smooth mouthfeel. The honey dominates this one.
