Bottled (BB 04/2008)
Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Clear amber color, small off-white head. Toasted toffeish and cardboardish aroma. Caramelly malty, papery flavor - very typical altbier. Some hops in the aftertaste.

Bottled. Deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is quite malty and hoppy with mild caramel and wooden notes in it. flavour is very dry wooden with some maltyness and hoppyness too. Has some slight roasted/smoky notes in it too. Dry palate.

Bottle: Amber to light amber coloured, fluffy, slowly diminishing, off-white head; malty nose, cardboard, a bit sourish, a touch of molasses; light bitter-sweet malty flavour; faint, short bitter finish. Drinkable, but far below the Düsseldorf micros.......................

(bottle) Clear amber colour with a big foamy off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with cooked carrots and shy hints of herbal hops. A gruesome example of an unbalanced malt-hop ratio and unpleasant sharp carbonation. Great looking but absolutely unsatisfying brew.
