Bottle. Sweet caramel malt, sour milk, and grassy hops aroma. Clear copper color with moderate head. Light sweet caramel malt, sour milk and bitter/metallic grass hops flavor. Not bad - easy drinking.

Bottled (BB 04/2008)
Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Clear amber color, small off-white head. Toasted toffeish and cardboardish aroma. Caramelly malty, papery flavor - very typical altbier. Some hops in the aftertaste.

Bottle: Amber to light amber coloured, fluffy, slowly diminishing, off-white head; malty nose, cardboard, a bit sourish, a touch of molasses; light bitter-sweet malty flavour; faint, short bitter finish. Drinkable, but far below the Düsseldorf micros.......................

(bottle) Clear amber colour with a big foamy off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with cooked carrots and shy hints of herbal hops. A gruesome example of an unbalanced malt-hop ratio and unpleasant sharp carbonation. Great looking but absolutely unsatisfying brew.
