Draught, unfiltered Very slight haze in lemon-yellow beer; slim rim of white foam. Hay, bit smoked & pale malts, vaguely vegetal nose. Quite sweet for a pilsener, yeast is remarkably present in the taste, even when the beer is quite clear - even a bit meaty. No hops discernible - from Ninove, please! Added maize/corn if you ask me. Light, maisch-like slickness. Too sweet for my taste. But it’s clear enough: if you’re ideal is a sweet pilsener, here’s the beer for you. Retasted, bottled, on instignation of an irate brewer Indeed, less sweet: especially the head gives quite some hoppy impressions. Generally bitterish impression, except for the finish / retronasal, where there’s still quite some restsweetness, whatever Karel claims. It’s the reason the beer is not really dry. It’s also clear that Belgian brewers are not ready for the Internet honest opinions.
