Stolen Red Berries is the first member of our Stolen series, consisting of soured wheat beers. We went fruity on this one by adding all our favourite red berries: raspberry, black cherries, black currant, red currant and blackberry in the fermentor. All the fruits are 100% natural with nothing added to them. The beer is tart and refreshing with a beautiful pink foam and is a true thirst-quencher for the hot summer days.

Bottle from HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours opaque beetroot red with medium pinkish head. Aroma is intense raspberry, strawberry, cherry, red currant and hints of vinegar. Taste is medium sweet, faint bitter and medium to very acidic. Body is oily with sparkling carbonation. Finish is long and mostly acidic with intense notes of red berries, almonds, vinegar and chalk. Very fruity and fresh.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque, thick red - rhubarbish - with a almost kinky, lacing pink head. Very buttery nose, heaps of butterscotch almost drowning the intense berry fruit uderneath. Kinda light in body, very dry mixed berry notes, but that distict butter otes is extremely disturbing. Very tart. It looks like a million, but flavor wise this is't really up to par. 050521

Bottle @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy rhubarb red with small pink head. Clear aroma of berries, especially raspberries and blueberries, with notes of yeast and touches of malt. Intensely dry flavour of berries, with notes og yeast and mild touches of malt. Lingering vinous eftertaste. Decent for the style and quite enjoyable as such.
