Malty aroma with milk chocolate. medium to full bodied. Very malty flavor. Roast, caramel and chocolate. Raisin. Meaty beer, you can almost chew it. Not too sweet. Likeable and powerful.

Dark ruby brown color, creamy beige head. Aroma is fruity. Grassy hops, caramel, apple - sweet, alcoholic and simple.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and metal. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, alcohol, and metal, leading to a dry metallic finish.

Clear mahogany with a medium sized beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and rye bread. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel, rye bread and toffee. FInished sweet.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear nutty brown with a beige head. Intense aroma of roasted malt and some alcohol. Quite full-bodied with a very solid malt base, nuts and a little hard roasted malt. Lightly bitter finish. Pure muscles!

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, brown sugar, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and coffee and roasted bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090322]

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small to fully gone head. Sweet caramel malt flavored, light roasted. Sweet caramel, roasted and light bitter flavoured. Slowly increasing bitterness into the finish.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass not really. Starts hoppy and dry, not really malty. Finish is bitter, too mild for a bock. Disappointing.
